So it’s been a few weeks since the amazing event that was Splunk .Conf19 wrapped up in those amazing lights of the Las Vegas strip…. but we haven’t got over it just yet! At 13Fields we are still feeling the high of the amazing experiences, opportunities, announcements, partnerships, and social opportunities that have come out of Splunk’s 10th conference. Some stats: 12000 attendees, turning up each morning for the most amazing keynotes, and almost 400 talks, case studies, deep-dives or hands-on classroom sessions!

Just how do you consume ALL of this content in the 3 days of #splunkconf19?! You can’t. So the answer is that you ride the wave for the next 3 months! Over the next 2 weeks we are going to share our experiences of #splunkconf19 ; our favourite bits, talks, opportunities and our own personal perspectives, as well as a “top10 talks” breakdown for the various security roles in your business.
After that, we’ll follow up with some technical pieces on new features, and how we’re using and seeing all the new products being adopted- including the Python 3 migration!

What about after that 3 month wave has rolled into the beach (to stretch the metaphor too far)? Let’s continue consuming the amazing event that was Splunk .Conf19 until 2020 rolls around; and let’s build on the shoulders of giants and our communities and industry contemporaries to take our IT Ops, Monitoring, Automation, and Security capabilities further than we thought possible.
