I wanted to share a brief comment on what we mean when we talk about ‘Fields Good‘ .

Fields Good is our concept of giving back to the communities we benefit from everyday; the people, the places the experiences. It’s about developing the next generation; be that through mentoring, inspiring or just speaking to the next generation of IT and CyberSecurity specialists to help them make their first steps in their educational choices or Career journeys.

When we started 13Fields we always had the thought of a strong social element about giving back based on all the support we have been lucky to receive throughout our careers and the opportunities that we didn’t have available to us that, we feel, would have made a big difference in our lives if they were.

Fields Good is the embodiment of that ethos; doing something beyond the norm to benefit others we come across in our community; supporting local Meet-up groups, speaking at schools, open sourcing a large amount of our capabilities to benefit those around us.

I wanted to put this quick post together just to frame this as it will be something we talk about A LOT on our blog to share and update what we are doing and why we do it.

I’d love to see this develop into something the community around us can also participate in and give back in their own way. Get in touch via LinkedIn or Twitter as we’d love to see and hear about how you are helping and giving back to your community in whichever shape or form!

it’s great to feel good and it’s part of our blood.
